It is important to recognize and respect these differences in order to properly address and prevent domestic violence and human trafficking. This may include providing culturally competent services and resources to survivors, and educating communities about the signs of abuse and exploitation. Ultimately, everyone deserves to live free from violence and exploitation, regardless of their culture.
