Another incredible year for JLU (Part Four) - Ndongo

The underlying theme of “ The importance of self-awareness and financial independence” was the main driver for the organization’s December outreach.

Financially independent women can contribute to raising children, building a solid family foundation, serving the community, and building the nation.

After a comment was made referring to Ndongo as a place not worth visiting, the JLU team took the challenge to see, create awareness, and show love and support to the people of Ndongo.

These Special Christmas packages contained food items and roll-ons as tokens of encouragement and hope for better days.

It is worth noting that this donation aims to build resilience and self-confidence and impact knowledge of economic empowerment/growth as measures to combat GBV in the community.

It was a humbling experience visiting, socializing, and sharing with this community.
